Bownet Sports Sells Southbat

Bownet Sports is done swinging Southbat.

The leader in portable athletic equipment has announced the sale of Southbat, "The Guayaibi Wood Bat Line" to Florida based, Arnetwork International LLC.

Jack Lucas, CEO of Bownet Sports, made the announcement to his board of directors that effective immediately all Southbat intellectual property and inventory would be transferred to south Florida. "We are leaving our cult-like customer base in good hands" said Lucas.

Lucas also announced that Sebastian Naum, Southbat's co-founder and former president of Southbat USA, will be retained by Bownet Sports heading up the Digital Marketing division as well as handling other international endeavors.

"After just three short years we have decided that Southbat did not fit into Bownet's core business strategies and without having MLB approval for the the new species of Guayaibi wood, it would make worldwide expansion difficult." said Sebastian Naum.

Naum added, “I look forward to continuing to build the success of the Bownet Sports lines, including the new ICE20 line, Bownet Soccer, and Bownet Baseball in addition to all of our superior practice nets and goals.  SEO, Content Marketing and all aspects of Social Media and Digital Marketing are key to company branding, sales success and global expansion.”
