Sometimes when you're training, you need to go big. Ballast balls are a tool used by elite ballplayers to get an edge on the diamond. Our weighted baseballs and weighted softballs are approximately three times heavier than regulation balls. When used properly, these high-resistance baseballs help develop strength for hitting, pitching and fielding. Heavy baseballs also emphasize good technique such as shoulder rotation and squaring up with the ball.

By training with weighted balls, you can throw game baseballs and softballs faster, hit them farther and have more endurance for late-game heroics.
