Keeper Training Session

Set up:

Poles or cones are placed across the face of goal covering 1/2 of the goal.

 

 

Objective:

Developing footwork

Quickness of movement

Side specific diving

Distribution accuracy

 

 

Instruction:

Goalkeeper starts at one end of goal, slaloms to mid goal and dives to make save as coach fires off a shot.

 

 

Variation: Goalkeeper starts at one end of goal, runs forward, touches 6 yard line, back peddles and begins slalom sequence to make save.
