Softball Standout, Lauren Chamberlain, Joins Bownet Sports

06.10.16 – Camarillo, CA – Lauren Chamberlain has signed a 3-year agreement with Bownet Sports as a Bownet Brand Ambassador.  Lauren was the #1 overall draft pick in the NPF’s 2015 draft and currently the first baseman for the USSSA Florida Pride.  The power hitting right-hander will promote hitting through the use of Bownets, including her Lauren Chamberlain Signature Line of BigMouth nets.

Chamberlain was a college standout at Oklahoma where she was a Big 12 1st Team All-Conference Award winner three times, four straight years as Big 12 Conference Champion, four time All-American, 2015 Big 12 Athlete of the Year and 2013 NCAA National Champion.  She set the Big 12 Conference single season home run record with 30 in 2012 as a freshman and continued that show of power through 2015, earning first on the list as the NCAA career home run leader with 95.

“I am very excited to join the Bownet team, representing such an innovative company that continually creates and improves products for our sport.  I have used Bownets for many years now and they are a constant in my daily training,” said Chamberlain about her new role as Brand Ambassador.  “One key to my success has been hitting every day and improving my swing.  Bownet allows players to hit on their own with efficiency.  Less setup time means more time to hit!”

Chamberlain will be not only using Bownets for her hitting, but attending tournaments and events for Bownet showcasing her skills and power in the future.

“Brining Lauren on board the Bownet team speaks to the level of performance Bownet strives for.  Having a power hitter like her shows the quality of product we have and how committed we are to the future of fastpitch and our industry,” said Jack Lucas, CEO of Bownet Sports.  “Bownet is a very innovative company bringing forward new and better products constantly and we feel Lauren fits our mold perfectly with her performance and personality. We are excited to have her!”
