Find the Best Size Baseball Hitting Net or Pitching Net
Enhance Your Training with Baseball Nets of All Sizes
A baseball practice net is what elite players use to work on the skills they need for the diamond. Portable, easy to set up and even easier to use, Bownet® baseball nets are part of a complete training system.
But there's no one-size-fits-all solution with sports netting. A baseball net can come in many sizes depending on what you need it for. Let's look at some of the baseball hitting, pitching and fielding nets available to help you #TrainLikeAPro.
7' x 7' Baseball Nets
Considered the "standard" Bownet size, these nets are ideal for solo drills at practice or on your own time. One person can easily set up a 7' x 7' portable baseball net in as little as 60 seconds.
The highlight is the Big Mouth X® batting net based on our original design. If you need a pitching net, check out the Soft Toss X or I-Screen. We also have the In-Fielder for fielding work. Most Bownet 7' x 7' nets are interchangeable with the same BOW™ frame, letting you switch things up quickly.
Pro Series and Elite Series Nets
This is the next step up in the Bownet sports net system. Pro Series baseball nets are 8' x 7.5' while Elite Series portable nets measure 8' x 8'. This larger size, along with pro-grade netting and thicker poles, will handle the more powerful hits and throws of high-level athletes while still being relatively easy to set up.
Both our popular Big Mouth® hitting net and L-Screen pitching net are available in Pro and Elite sizes. We also have the Soft Toss Pro and Pitching Screen Pro for those serious about the diamond. And if you need to shield spectators or other players from line drives, consider the Elite® Protection net.
Baseball Cages and Backstops
Now we're into the baseball nets that let you set up team practices or even games. If you need a baseball batting cage, take a look at Bownet backstops. The original 17.5" x 9.5" portable backstop is an all-purpose training solution, while our 8' Hitting Cube and 12' x 8' Hitting Station are geared specifically towards taking cuts.
You also can get creative with large baseball netting. The Big Mouth 2 is a double sock net that lets two players do hitting or pitching work at once. And with our new Quad Training Station, you effectively get four Big Mouth nets in a single net. These systems take longer to set up - the Quad needs 15 minutes for two people - but they're worth it for the versatility and protection they provide.
Junior Baseball Nets
We haven't forgotten about those just breaking into America's pastime. Bownet created our Big Mouth Junior net specifically for kids ages 10 and under. Measuring 6' x 6', it's perfect for youngsters who already know they want to train regularly. Many older players like it, too - since it has a smaller target, the Big Mouth Junior is great for accuracy work.
