Beginning in 2020, all high school games sanctioned by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) must use baseballs that meet design and performance requirements set by the National Operating Committee on Standard for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE^®) and the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI^®). These include standards regarding the baseball’s weight, circumference, compression load and even how fast the ball goes after contact.

Bownet BN-100 baseballs have the NFHS stamp to signify they meet or exceed all NOCSAE-SEI requirements. Using them helps ensure consistency of play in official interscholastic competition so players are never thrown a change-up. This cushioned cork baseball has a B-grade cowhide leather cover, raised seams and gray wool winding. You’ll receive a box of one dozen baseballs that are ready to be rubbed up and put into play.
